Join Newtown Parks and Recreation for the Annual Spring Egg Hunt. There will be an appearance by our Spring Bunny who will lead you to the hunt. We have a variety of time slots available. Each time slot is limited to 100 participants. There will be two prize eggs in each time slot. Once you have completed your time slot, please depart the Pavilion area to allow for other participants to enjoy the hunt.

No Walk-Ins: you must pre-register for the event.

Rain Date is Saturday, March 30.

Pack up your pooch and join us for our 13th Annual Strutt Your Mutt. We will have a fun 2K walk, dog-friendly games, vendors, contests and more.

Registration on the day of the event begins at 10:30.

Join Newtown Parks and Recreation and the Newtown Senior Center for a Spring Fling! This entertaining event will include music and dancing. Food will be provided by Newtown High School culinary students.
(Parking and entrance to the Cafetorium is in the back of the High School.)

It's a Green Theme! Get into the spirit of the Irish on St. Patrick's Day and come celebrate. Enjoy a DJ Dance Party, games, pizza and snacks.

Round up your friends and come on down to the Teen Center for gaming fun! Affinity Esports, based in Sandy Hook, CT, will be hosting students in Grades 5 & 6, Middle School and high school for the afternoon/evening with variety of games and guidance. Affinity Esports is known for their mission of creating safe spaces for happier and healthier gaming experiences.

In addition to gaming, participants can hang out in the Teen Center and play foosball, air hockey and pool. We also have a shuffleboard table (with the option for football play mat). And we'll have pizza!

This race/walk is for the elite to the novice. Maps are available at the Parks and Recreation office.
