Drawing classes teach children to draw what they see, to enhance their drawings with their own ideas and concepts, and to use different materials in creative ways. The class environment is non-competitive, creative, and fun. This program helps students build their self-esteem through their drawing success and enhances hand eye coordination as well as spatial and color relationships. Special holidays and events are considered for project ideas. Multicultural arts and techniques are taught; educating students in history, geography, and storytelling as well. Drawing projects may include collage, mask making, still life, animals, scenery, people, portrait, or architecture. Students may take multiple sessions from year to year and will not repeat projects.

Our fun and informative drawing and painting classes for older students are specially designed to build on your child’s knowledge of drawing and teach them technical skills as they develop their own unique style. This program will provide a variety of drawing and painting mediums for our artist to experience as they discover new ways of expressing their artistic visions.

Explore the Joy of Singing in a supportive, fun environment with a professional vocalist. Beginners are welcomed and encouraged. Healthy vocal technique will be developed while singing from a wide variety of repertoire that the student will choose from. Can also help advanced students with auditions for musical theaters, All-State choir, etc. Adults are welcome. Roomy, comfortable studio is located in Sandy Hook center.

The fee includes four 45-minute lessons which can take place either on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays or Thursdays. The instructor will contact you after you register and will work with you to pick the day & time convenient to both parties.

Have your child join us for our Content Creation, Streaming, & Graphic Design for Esports, where they will learn the fundamentals and develop skills necessary to become a successful content creator. During this class, your child will have the opportunity to explore their creativity as they produce unique content. They will get an overview of hardware and software requirements, streaming platforms (such as Twitch and YouTube), lighting, audio, video editing, graphic design, and more. They will be able to configure their setup, get behind the camera and microphone, and share the final results online (or just with family and friends). Encourage your child to join us for Game Creation, Modding, and Coding. They will start by learning code basics through Scratch, the world's largest coding community and visual coding language for children, to create their own games. From beginner to intermediate, all of the rules of chess will be taught in this program. Beginners will be shown basic strategies. Intermediate participants will learn all aspects of tournaments. The game of chess is a fun and exciting experience!

James Santorelli is a nationally renowned authority of chess in education with over 30 years' experience. Jim's passion for chess helps players to improve their skills and has guided his students to 13 National Scholastic Championships.
