From beginner to intermediate, all of the rules of chess will be taught in this program. Beginners will be shown basic strategies. Intermediate participants will learn all aspects of tournaments. The game of chess is a fun and exciting experience!

About the Instructor:
James Santorelli is a nationally renowned authority of chess in education with over 30 years' experience. Jim's passion for chess helps players to improve their skills and has guided his students to 13 National Scholastic Championships.

Location: Newtown Middle School, 11 Queen Street
Use Main Entrance on side of school. When across from the school, enter the parking lot on the right. Walk down the stairs to the main entrance, turn right down hallway, then left onto D-Wing.
