Whether it’s a superhero, fuzzy kitten or three-eyed monster this class will teach students the art of cartooning by creating original characters and background stories. We will explore character development by using objects as models, and working in different mediums to create our characters, foregrounds and backgrounds. We will learn about poses and expressions, taking our cartoons off the page and into the real world!

Class is taught by Susan Jackson & Kristen Hollis.

Location at Newtown Middle School: Use Main Entrance on side of school. When across from the school, enter the parking lot on the right. Walk down stairs to main entrance, class will be on D Wing to your right.
